Assevero is pleased to welcome Barbara Davis and Mark Covington to our team.

Barbara will serve as the Director of Recruiting Services. In this role she will be responsible for managing and directing our Cyber Security Recruiting service offering. Assevero’s Cyber Security Recruiting Services is designed to help our clients locate and recruit information security professionals for openings that have been difficult for them to fill using their own resources.  The offering encompasses four major service areas.

  • Client-related processes – This refers to supporting a prospective client’s core business strategy through marketing, sales, and managing the hiring process to meet workforce demands.
  • Candidate-related processes – includes the sourcing of potential candidates through advertisement, recruiting, and cloud based applicant tracking software.
  • Vetting processes – refers to selecting and submitting the most qualified candidate based on evaluation of professional and educational background.
  • Management processes – includes those processes used to ensure business stability and performance.

We look forward to working with Barbara’s to ensure the company’s success in this area.

Mark comes to Assevero through the Anne Arundel County Cyber Security Pathways program.  Mark will assist Barbara in the Recruiting Services area as well as assist in other areas.  We look forward to Mark’s contributions as well.

Assevero has updated it’s employee benefits plan.  Changes include allowing part-time employees to participate in the company 401K retirement plan and the addition of company paid long-term care insurance for all full-time employees.

SeaPort-e is the Navy’s electronic platform for acquiring support services in 22 functional areas including Engineering, Financial Management, and Program Management.  The Navy Systems Commands (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR, NAVFAC, and NAVSUP), the Office of Naval Research, the United States Marine Corps, and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) compete their service requirements amongst 1800+ SeaPort-e IDIQ multiple award contract holders.

Winning a SeaPort-e prime was key goal for us this year.  We anticipate that the SeaPort-e vehicle will open up a new set of opportunities for Assevero.
